Learn about University System

Undergraduate students (apart from the Graduate Entry MBBS students) do not enrol through the ANU College of Medicine & Health Sciences. However, academics within the College supervise students enrolled in various undergraduate programs in the ANU College of Science (e.g. PhB, BSc, BMedSci) during research project and advanced studies courses or during the honours year. Various areas of the College also offer scholarships for summer research projects.

Many academics within the College are willing to supervise ANU undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students, during research projects associated with their course or work experience students from outside the University. It is the students responsibility to make an arrangement with a supervisor. Please browse the following pages and contact supervisors you may be interested in working with.

Honours

The ANU College of Medicine & Health Sciences does not directly enrol honours students. However, academics within the College supervise students enrolled in various undergraduate programs throughout the ANU.
Students complete the course work required in their honours program eg:

• Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
• Neuroscience
• Botany & Zoology
• Mathematics
• Chemistry
• Psychology

How do I enrol?

Honours students are enrolled through the College that administers the Honours program they are interested in. The closing date is typically late October/November. However, a mid-year Honours enrolment is possible in some programs. For course details and specific requirements for each program, contact the honours course convenors in the first instance. Students transferring from other universities must first enrol at ANU before enrolling in.
